Sar Sargsyan wishes to invite you to the 1st International Vocal Festival and Competition “Vistula Sounds” to be held on 15-19 August 2022 in Ciechocinek (Poland). Sar is the artistic director of the event who developed this unique idea. The “Vistula Sounds” will become an annual celebration of singing, reaching both national and international audiences, attracting contestants, guests and judges from Poland and many other countries. The consistent concept of the event combines a variety of cultural, educational and entertainment elements to provide a platform for singing, stage performance, and intercultural exchange. One of the objectives is also to enrich Ciechocinek’s already extensive entertainment offering with a top quality event attracting the city’s patients and residents, as well as tourists.
Featured in the photograph is Sar with the beautiful and unique trophie of the “Vistula Sounds” Festival. These custom-made statuettes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners, as well as the Grand Prix winners of the two competitions. 32 trophies are now awaiting to be handed over to their rightful winners – this could be any of you! However, to be considered for a prize you need to take part in our Festival. Applications from contestants are accepted until June 1, 2022.The festival is held under the Honorary Patronage of the Governor and Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland, the head of the county Aleksandrow and the mayor of the city of Ciechocinek. “My Hadrut” is more than a dedication. It is a scream and an explosion of emotions felt by the artist, his step on the way to de-occupy his homeland. Ultimately, it is a cry for help to the entire world so no one dares to take away someone else’s HOME, uproot them and impose a different FATE.

The premiere of the song is timed to coincide with August 15, the Hadrut Day. The song is dedicated to the memory of all the Heroes who died for Hadrut and Artsakh. Dedicated to all the people of Hadrut, all living, who must one day free, restore and revive Hadrut ․․․ Let's hope that sometime on the day of the city in Hadrut the song "My Hadrut" will sound.

The piece has an underlying minor tonality, with the final phrase when the artist calls upon his city, changing to a major one, expressing hope.

Soon, on the upcoming eve of Hadrut Day, Sar Sargsyan will release his new song, “My  Hadrut” (Hadrut is Sar’s home town).

“The Call of the Immortals” is an expression of gratitude to the heroic victims of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war. The song is sung in their name and is an address to all the living. The piece will become a symbol of heroism.
